TRADE-IN PROGRAM

Only Rotax engines will be accepted in exchange. Products are distributed by authorized BRP-Rotax distributors/service centres. The terms and conditions may vary from country to country and the promotion is subject to termination or change at any time without notice. This offer is valid from March 1, 2009 to April 30, 2009. See your participating BRP-Rotax distributor/service centre for details.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • The engine must be in operating condition.
  • Must be in the standard configuration.
  • The engine serial number plate must be in place and free of damage.
  • Proof of ownership must be included.
  • The carburettor throttle and choke levers must be in the standard configuration.
  • The complete oil tank & fittings, rectifier regulator and starter relay must be included.
  • For 914 engines, the TCU, servo motor and cable are required in the standard configuration.
  • For 914 engines, the engine suspension frame, airbox and turbo must be free of any damages and/or cracks.
  • No damages due to fire and/or overheating.
  • The mounting points and threads must be free of any damage.
  • The log book or copies thereof must be included showing details of all maintenance and repairs.
  • Compliance with all relevant Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Service Letters and Service Instructions is necessary.
  • The engine will be inspected and if all the above conditions are complied with, payment for the agreed core credit amount will be made within 14 days from receipt of the engine.
  • If the engine fails to meet with any of the above conditions, we reserve the right to return the engine to the owner and cancel the refund for the core credit, but subject to prior consultation with the owner.
  • Once payment of the agreed core credit amount has been made to the owner, the engine becomes the property of Aviation Engines & Accessories (Pty) Ltd.
  • In all cases our Standard Trading Terms & Conditions will apply.

The engine will be inspected and if all the above conditions are complied with, payment for the agreed core credit amount will be made within 14 days from receipt of the engine.
